Read for the Record is a national literacy program where we are challenged to read to as many children as possible on October 29, 2020. This year's book is Evelyn Del Rey Is Moving Away by Meg Medina. We are supplying a video of the book being read by area superintendents and a number of Let's Read 20 board members.

Here is an educators activity guide for you to use after sharing the video. It has a list of vocabulary words, activities and shares alternative remote learning ideas. Please note there is a mood meter included to show how emotions can change just as in the story.

We are also supplying a family activity guide for you to share with your students. This too has a mood meter to initiate conversation for parents and students.
